Kona Mountain Home is a unique plantation style house, that includes a detached second master bedroom. It is located on 3 acres on the slopes of Hualalai of the Big Island. Hawaii's serene cloud forest is unique and peaceful. The home is walking distance from hike/bike/horseback riding trails through the Honuaula Forest Reserve and one fo the Big Island's best coffee plantations: Mountain Thunder Kona Coffee. Kona Mountain Home sleeps 13 people and is perfect for family and friends. 

The house is surrounded by the unique Hawaiian Ohia trees with their bright red lehua blossoms, meticulously maintained flower gardens and lawn. Upstairs the home has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, an open kitchen/dining/living area, fireplace, a private lanai off a guest bedroom, and an expansive lanai with access from kitchen, living room, and master bedroom. At ground level a spacious wrap around deck with a hot tub, outdoor seating, and a BBQ grill welcome you to relax in the cool Hawaiian breezes.  If you are ready for more active fun our Weight system and Elliptical machine are ready for use.  A teak card table and a host of indoor and outdoor games are available.  Our attached garage is full of all the goodies you would ever need to help you enjoy the island.  Kayaks, paddle board, surf board, boogie boards, coolers, chairs, shade canopies, towells, snorkel gear, and more are waiting for you.  

The Second Master is located next to the house, snuggled among the hapu. A handcrafted hanging bamboo curtain offers privacy for both the Second Master's outdoor shower and the lanai.  Inside  there is a king size bed, a queen size fold out couch, a full bath, a living room and  a table for 4.   The lanai has a beautiful ocean view and a table for 2.
